Things to Know Before Your Visit:

 

Protective Measures:

With the reopening of the tasting room outdoor areas, the health and safety of our customers and employees is a high priority. To prevent spread and to ensure the health and safety of individuals on a daily basis, we have implemented protocols that will limit employee to customer and customer to customer contact and regimens that will ensure around the clock sanitizing and disinfecting of all customer and employee contact touch points and surfaces.

To keep everyone safe, we ask that customers...

  • Respectfully social distance at all times. Keep a 6 foot distance from all other tables, guests, and employees.
  • Refrain from moving tables and chairs. If you would like to switch tables, please see the host. 
  • Indoor Mask Restrictions: Proof of vaccination card required. We ask that employees and customers wear their masks while moving around the common areas indoors. Guests who have an indoor reservation are asked to bring proof of vaccination and can remove their masks while seated at their table. 
  • Outdoor Mask Restrictions: We encourage guests who are not vaccinated to wear a mask while moving around the outdoor common areas. Employees and customers who are vaccinated are welcome to remove their masks while outdoors. All guests may remove their masks while seated at a table outdoors.
  • We also ask that any customers who may be showing symptoms of COVID-19 to please stay home.

We are happily taking indoor reservations for groups 8 or less in our Main Tasting Room and Grotto as well as outdoor reservations for groups 12 or less on our Patio, Courtyard, Terrace, and Lawn areas. Reservations for groups of 13 to 19, please email Karen at info@blackankle.comReservations for groups of 20 or larger, please email Jen at Jennifer@blackankle.com

  • To allow for other guests to visit and enjoy the farm, our outdoor reservations will be allotted for 2.5 hour picnics, indoor reservations will be allotted for 1.75 hour seating, or until close of business each day.
  • Children are always welcome!  We just ask that all children be included in the party size and remain with their parents/guardians throughout the duration of your visit.  For the safety of yourself and our guests, no running, sports, or games are allowed in the lawn or seating area at this time. 
  • Dogs are also welcome on our Patio and Lawn area and must remain attached to their leash
  • Rain and Snow Policy:  If the Tasting Room has to close in the event of inclement weather, we will contact you directly to see if you would like to reschedule your visit for a sunnier day.
  • Shade:  Every fall, our shade sails are removed from the Patio and the Terrace areas. On sunnier days, we recommend all guests bring protective gear such as hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen along with them. Or maybe even your own umbrella :)
  • Fire Pits/Warmth:  We will have multiple solo stove fire pits available on a first come first serve basis for an additional fee - Our Fire Starter Kit Bundle for $30 includes 8 pieces of wood, kindling, and a lighter. If guests need more wood or grab a table that already has a fire pit lit, we have a Maintenance Bundle available for $15. For all outdoor reservations, we recommend wearing layers and bringing gloves + a blanket or two.
