The 2020 Grüner Veltliner is a perfect substitute for those Sauvignon Blanc fans – plenty of citrus, tree fruit, and a hint of tropical fruits along with minerality, and juicy acidity. This wine can pair nicely with spicy foods, vegetarian dishes, or is great on its own on a hot summer’s day.
Medium-bodied and full of flavor our 2019 Reserve Chardonnay is smooth and easy drinking. There’s plenty of fruit aromas and flavors and the subtle oak influence is gentle and adds a baking spice flavor along with some weight/creaminess mid-palate. The finish is lingering with mineral and spice and zest notes.
Easy drinking and complex, the 2020 Passeggiata is a medium-bodied red wine that offers tart red berries, along with some earthy notes, spice, vanilla, and creamy caramel with a finish that is laced with minerality and pepper spice that compliments the bright acidity of this wine.
Full-bodied, but not heavy, our 2015 Pinot Noir has complex flavors and aromas just waiting for you to investigate. Bright, ripe fruit and berry aromas, spice notes, caramel, leather, and woodsy, tobacco undertones all lead to a lingering, smooth finish that shows juicy acidity and smooth tannins.
The 2019 Crumbling Rock is a Bordeaux-style blend that is full-bodied and very approachable now but can age well for years ahead. There is plenty of interesting aromas and flavors of rich dark fruits and berries that meld seamlessly with spice, sweet wood notes, and tobacco.
The 2016 Black Ankle Estate is our flagship, limited-production, Bordeaux-style blend that is only made from excellent vintage years. This wine is a full-bodied red with plenty of verve that presents aromas and flavors of red and dark fruits, sweet wood, tobacco leaf, baking spice, chocolate, vanilla, and has enough juicy acidity and firm tannins to keep you on your toes.
