Warm and toasty on the palate, with lots of dried fruit, nut, and spice notes. Great with an after-dinner cheese plate, or chocolate, this port-style wine is also a treat on its own. Rich, juicy, dried fruits and spice send a lingering warmth through the palate.
Our 9th iteration of Terra Dulce makes its debut just in time for the holidays. Called a port-style wine, our Terra Dulce has many characteristics that are like a Port (which is only made in Porto, Portugal) although they are made in entirely different ways. With oxidized fruit aromas and spice, the wine glides across the palate and finishes with a long, lingering, warmth. It’s great with rich cheeses and nuts on a fruit plate, chocolates, and desserts.
300 cases produced.
Our Terra Dulce is one of our most expensive wines to produce in terms of it taking years and years to make, the time for it to oxidize, and the attention it receives. Each new Terra Dulce release will always have some wine from every previous vintage (back to 2005) and will contain wine from all 12 grape varieties.
