Slate 5’s complexity shows from the first whiff of the glass: lovely perfumed aromas of floral, sweet wood, red and jammy dark fruits, all with a dusting of chocolate. The palate carries through with cherry, currant, plum, raspberry, and black fruits (boysenberry, blueberry, blackberry) that integrate seamlessly with the vanilla, pepper spice and crushed rock/gravel notes to the finish.
