Vineyard Notes
The 2020 Albariño Viejo was made primarily from the grapes in our 2004 block, which comes from the East side of the farm and has less rocky, slightly richer soil than the Albariños on the western side.
Winemaker Notes
Our Albariño is grown in three different blocks planted throughout the vineyard. When we sat down at the blending table in January we found that all three Albariños were delicious on their own, so rather than blending them together as we have done so in years past, we decided to bottle them as separate wines that showcase their differences.
