Ever wanted to try one of our varietals fresh from the winery barrels? 

Now you can try the components of our wine blends served to you from our tasting room!  We've always said our blends are better, but we think it's always fascinating to see what the component parts are like.  Our idea is to let people taste something straight out of the barrel; something less polished and refined than the final blends but a tasting experience that showcases how wines age and how one component adds to the finished product. 

Our current barrel sample is...

35% Cabernet Franc, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot

An unfinished mix of three Bordeaux varieties that have been fermented and aged together in our New Orion oak barrels since the harvest of 2021. These barrels will eventually become the base for a future vintage of one of your favorite Black Ankle Red Blends.
