2026 Spring Market

Our 5th Annual Spring Market will be taking place on April 18th, 19th, 25th and 26th.

Spring is in the air, and that means it’s time for our Spring Market at Black Ankle Vineyards! Join us for a vibrant spring weekend at the vineyard and support our local community while browsing a thoughtfully curated lineup of small businesses. Our outdoor spaces will be filled with stalls from local artisans, makers, and chefs, offering everything from gifts for your pup and your in-laws to something special just for you.

Private Events

Our Tasting Room, which can accommodate 150 people, features sweeping views of the vineyards and was built using a multitude of materials grown or gathered on the farm, including wood, stone, straw, and clay. The interior of the building includes a hand-crafted bar, two inviting fireplaces, one-of-a-kind curly maple tables, ADA-compliant bathrooms and 1,150 square feet of floor space. The facility also includes a delightful courtyard furnished with tables and chairs, speakers, and strung lights, making it the perfect location for large gatherings.

Private Rental Pricing

For Private Rentals, we offer our Tasting Room space for rent after business hours, so you can have the space to yourself and set it up in a way that is perfect for you!

For Semi-Private Rentals, guests will have sole use of our Living Room, a cozy indoor space that opens onto the courtyard garden. This rental includes seating for 20 guaranteed on our Courtyard Garden for 3 hours during business hours.

The Fine Print: Pricing for private and semi-private rentals includes birthdays, company parties, bridal/baby showers, retreats, and luncheons. Weddings at Black Ankle do not fall under this rental category.

We are not able to hold Private Events on Fridays due to the nature of our Tasting Room hours. We are able to hold private, after-hours rentals, on Saturday with 4 weeks booking notice and a $5,000 rental fee for 75 people or less.

Due to Maryland State Law, no alcohol of any kind may be brought onto the premises. We can only serve Black Ankle Vineyards wine, and no beer or liquor.

Weddings

Thank you for thinking of Black Ankle for your Wedding Day! We have a beautiful, one-of-a-kind property that makes the perfect location for friends and family to gather and celebrate with you. We will do everything we can to make your wedding a wonderful, stress-free experience for you and your guests.

You can choose to have your ceremony overlooking the vines at sunset and may rent a tent for your reception, or you can hold your reception on our back patio depending on the number of guests.

If you would like to visit our venue to consider it for an event, we request that you make an appointment in advance, so we can give you our full attention.

The Fine Print: Wedding rentals can only take place outside of normal business hours. The maximum number of guests that we can accommodate for a wedding is 75. Due to Maryland State Law, no alcohol of any kind may be brought onto the premises. We can only serve Black Ankle Vineyards wines, and no beer or liquor.
